Paris: Celebration was seen on the Champs-Elysees avenue in central Paris on Wednesday after France stormed into the World Cup final.

Here are some pics:

Around 10,000 police were mobilised across France to ensure there was no unrest during and after the match.

An early goal by Theo Hernandez and a late one from Randal Kolo Muani ended Morocco’s dream run to enter into the World Cup final.

With the win, France also became the first defending champions to qualify for consecutive World Cup finals since Brazil did it in 1998. France will now face Argentina in the summit clash of the tournament on Sunday.
