New Delhi: Hero MotoCorp has launched its first-ever electric scooter, Hero Vida V1, in India. Hero MotoCorp’s new Vida V1 electric scooter is offered in two variants with prices starting at Rs 1.45 lakh, ex-showroom.

Hero MotoCorp hosted the grand launch event of these electrified offerings at the Hero Global Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The company is offering the Vida V1 electric scooter in two variants: Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro. They have been priced at Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.59 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. Bookings for the same will begin on October 10, 2022. Initially, they will be available only in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur.
Talking about the specifications, both these electric scooters have a top speed of 80 kmph. While the Vida V1 Plus will have a range of 143 km, the Vida V1 Pro is claimed to offer a range of 165 km in ideal conditions. The company says these e-scooters can be fast-charged at the rate of 1.2 km per minute. Deliveries of the same will begin in December 2022. The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter will rival the likes of the Ola S1, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X, etc.
