Bhadrak: A groom’s father was slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 by the Chandbali police for a organising marriage function by violating the Coronavirus guidelines.
As per available sources, Duryadhan Panigrahi organised his son’s marriage function at his home where hundreds of people were present.
Reporetdly, the Covid-19 guidelines issued by the Odisha Government restricts the marriage gatherings at 50.
On being informed, the Chandbali Tehsildar along with the IIC of Chandbali raided the place and imposed a fine of Rs 25000 for violating the Covid-19 norms.
