Another user shared a meme from Aryan Khan’s upcoming web series The Ba**rds of Bollywood*, mocking the claim with the line, “Ghante ka biggest superstar.”
Shah Rukh Khan, who delivered three back-to-back blockbusters in 2023 — Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki — remains the only actor with two solo ₹1000-crore hits. This made his fans even more vocal online, defending his title as India’s biggest global star.
Prabhas Fans Defend the Title
Prabhas’ loyal supporters, however, were quick to justify the description. One fan wrote:

Another pointed to box-office numbers, saying, “Collections prove it. Spirit just acknowledged what fans already know.”

Prabhas became a nationwide phenomenon with SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise, which grossed over Rs 2400 crore worldwide. Although his later films — Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush — struggled commercially, his comeback with Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD has restored his superstardom.
Kalki 2898 AD joined the Rs 1000 crore club, reaffirming Prabhas’ hold as one of India’s biggest box-office draws.
