Bhadrak: Excise personnel have nabbed one person with 12 kg ganja and seized Rs 1.7 lakh in cash from a shop at Ranital bazaar here on Friday.
The arrested person has been identified as Rabindra Sahu of Chudangapur. The seized contraband is estimated to worth over Rs 1lakh, police said.
The raid was conducted by Excise SP Dhaneswar Barad under the direction of District Collector Gyana Das. Excise Inspector Santosh Kumar Bal and staff participated in the raid.
Police sources said a case (126/20-21) has been registered in this regard and the accused forwarded to court.
