Family Of ‘Missing Pihu’ Stage Protest Outside Tukuni Sahu’s official residence in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The family members of ‘Pihu’ who had gone missing since August 9 last year from her village at Madhusudanpur in Jajpur district, staged a protest in front of Women and Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu’s official residence in Bhubaneswar.

The parents and relatives of the minor girl who sat on a dharna demanded her immediate rescue.

On August 9, ‘Pihu’ had gone missing while playing in front of her house at Madhusudanpur village under Binjharpur police limits in the district. Later, parents of the girl had lodged a complaint with the police after failing to trace her.

Alleging laxity in police probe, the family has resorted to protests.

Requesting the government to do the needful, the frustrated parents have now warned to intensify the dharna, if Police doesn’t take the case seriously.
