Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway has arranged Food packets and water bottles for the passengers, homeless and needy person taking shelter at Station areas in view of cyclone with the help of NGOs.
East Coast Railway has arranged dry food packets to the stranded passengers at Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak and Jajpur Keonjhar Road Stations, Apart from this, dry food packets were distributed to the stranded passengers and needy persons in the morning and cooked food packets in the noon.
Cooked food arranged and served to waiting passengers/stranded public in coordination with Local Young Group “BYASA SENA, Jajpur for 20 people at Jajpur Keonjhar Road Station comprising of Rice, Dal, Salad, Mix Sabji.
Food for passengers arranged at Bhubaneswar Station in coordination with NGO Marwadi Yuva Manch Bhubaneswar. Meals comprising of rice, dalma (dal+sabji), pickle and water bottle.
ECoR appeals to the stranded passengers not to panic. Efforts are being made to ensure that all of them are able to travel to their home states/destinations at the earliest after resumption of train services.
