ECoR Appeals Job Aspirants Not To Fall Prey To Fraudsters

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Wednesday issued an advisory to job aspirants to be vigilant against fraudsters promising jobs in Railways.

“It has come to the knowledge of Railway administration that some websites have published a notice claiming that the Indian Railways Protection Force (RPF) is recruiting RPF personnel for Constable Recruitment Examination, 2022. This has also gone viral on different Social Media platforms.

On the fact check by Railways and Press Information Bureau it has seen that this is completely fake and no such recruitment advertisement/notice has been published by the RPF or Railways,” the ECoR said.

East Coast Railway appealed job aspirants not to fall in the claws of Touts promising to provide job in Railways. Several cases have been come to the knowledge of Railway administration in recent times. Innocent people are being cheated by the racketeers luring jobs in Railways despite several steps taken by the Railways to control the tout menace.

It has been reiterated that “Don’t fall prey to touts, brokers and racketeers to get a Railway job and save your hard-earned money. Get a job through merit and hard work. The Railway Board or Railway Recruitment Board or the Railway Ministry never nominates any agent or an outsourcing agency for recruitment.”

Always check the official websites of Railway Recruitment Boards, Railway Recruitment Cells and follow advertisements published by the Boards in Newspapers and in Employment News. Only follow the official websites of Railways.
