Bhubaneswar: The President of Hockey India, Dilip Tirkey presented the first ticket for World Cup hockey to the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday.
Taking to Twitter, Odisha CM expressed his gratitude and wrote: “Delighted to receive the first ticket of #OdishaHockeyWorldCup2023 from @TheHockeyIndiaPresident Shri @DilipTirkey. Worth mentioning that Odisha is hosting the quadrennial world championship for the second consecutive time and matches will be played in two venues – Kalinga Stadium (Bhubaneswar) and Birsa Munda Stadium (Rourkela) – in the state from January 13 to 29.
