Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 positive cases breached the 1K mark in Bhubaneswar today with 1,044 positive cases and 447 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
As many as 1,044 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area in the last 24 hours.
As per BMC, of the 1,044 COVID-19 positive cases, 219 are Quarantine Cases (linked with earlier positive cases) and 825 others are Local Contact Cases.
This apart, 447 persons have also recovered from the infection of Novel Coronavirus.
So far a total of 42,445 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Bhubaneswar, out of which, 6493 are active cases while 35,674 persons have recovered and 257 persons have succumbed to the deadly infection of COVID-19.
