Conjoined twin survivor Jaga brought to SCB for check-up

Cuttack: Conjoined twin survivor Jaga was reportedly brought to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack city for health check-up.

As per reports, Jaga’s CT and MRI scans has been conducted at the hospital.

On the other hand, a special team from AIIMS Delhi expected to check his health today.

It is noteworthy that, one of the two twins Kalia had passed away on November 25 2020 due to septicaemia. He was under treatment at the trauma ICU of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Jaga and Kalia, hail from Milipada village in Kandhamal district and were craniopagus conjoined twins meaning, joined at the head which is a very rare occurrence.

The twins were separated after an 18-hour-long surgery at AIIMS in the national capital in October 2017.
