Congress directed all its Lok Sabha MPs to attend the special sitting of Parliament scheduled from April 16 to 18.
Party leaders issued the whip to ensure full participation during the crucial discussions. The special session will focus on significant legislative matters, including debates on women’s reservation and other national issues.
Congress emphasised the importance of unity and presence in the House. Senior leaders said the party expects every member to contribute to the deliberations. The whip signals the seriousness with which the party views the upcoming debates.
The directive comes ahead of Parliament’s special sitting announced by the government. Congress leaders said the session provides an opportunity to raise critical concerns and highlight the party’s stance on key bills.
