Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today unveiled the logo of the first World Oriya Language Conference. It has the tagline ‘Language is the Future’. On this occasion, the Chief Minister wished the conference a huge success

The first “World Odia Language Conference” will be held in the state capital, Bhubaneswar for three days, i.e. from the 3rd to the 5th of February 2024.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said “I hope this conference will serve as a good forum for exchange of views among intellectuals, researchers, scholars and students.”

He said that Odisha is the first linguistic state in modern India. Oriya language has gained the status of one of the classical languages and has increased the glory of our soil and language. Organization of the first World Ordia Conference to discuss the past, present and future of the Ordia language as well as to set goals for its propagation.

He also said that as a strong carrier of a unique heritage, how to increase the respect of the Orthodox language among our future generations and how our language can progress through modern technology, the future course of action will be determined.
