The Char Dham Yatra has officially resumed across Uttarakhand following an improvement in weather conditions.
Garhwal Commissioner Anand Swarup confirmed that necessary guidelines have been issued to the district magistrates of the concerned regions to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage.
The Yatra was temporarily suspended on September 26 afternoon as a precautionary measure due to heavy rainfall forecasts, remaining halted through September 27 to prioritise pilgrim safety.

Kedarnath Trekking Route Status: Repair and strengthening work is actively underway near Chirbasa, roughly two and a half kilometres above Gaurikund. The track suffered damage from heavy debris and boulders during recent heavy spells of rain, and pedestrian movement through this specific section remains completely closed.

Helicopter Services Operational: Despite the temporary blockage on the walking path, the pilgrimage to Kedarnath Dham continues smoothly via helicopter services.
