Gajapati: As many as 50 passengers of a bus had a close shave after the vehicle met with an accident near Khemundikhol in Mohana area of Gajapati district.
However, the helper of the bus sustained minor injuries.
According to sources, the bus, ferrying over 50 passengers, was en route to Berhampur, when it hit the guard wall of a bridge while making a sharp turn.
Locals rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers. The injured helper was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
