Bhadrak: As many as six persons including four women were injured as they brawled over a land dispute in Baralpokhari village in Bhadrak district late on Thursday night.
The injured persons have been admitted in the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
As per reports, members of Dalei and Senapati families have a conflict over a land dispute for three years. They often quarrel due to this. Last night, the clash took a violent turn as the members of the two families attacked each other. As a result, six of both sides were seriously injured. Following this, they were admitted in the hospital.
On intimation, the police rushed to the village and started an investigation. Due to the tense situation, the police have been deployed in the village. Separate cases have been registered in the town police station based on the allegations of both sides.
