Marvel Studios’ special theatrical re-release, Avengers: Endgame Encore, continues to attract audiences across India.
In its first nine days in cinemas, the extended cut of the 2019 superhero event has accumulated Rs 34.41 crore net, bringing its gross domestic total to Rs 40.62 crore.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame Encore offers fans a chance to revisit the grand climax of the Infinity Saga on the big screen, complete with bonus footage. Crucially, the re-release serves as a narrative bridge leading directly into Marvel’s upcoming tentpole, Avengers: Doomsday.
Steady Box Office Trajectory
The film kicked off its Indian run with a solid Rs 7.25 crore net (Rs 8.56 crore gross) on Day 1. Driven by weekend demand, collections peaked on Day 2 with Rs 7.65 crore net (Rs 9.03 crore gross)—a 5.49% growth—followed by a near-identical Sunday pull of Rs 7.55 crore net (Rs 8.91 crore gross).
While weekday figures naturally normalised after the initial rush, the film stabilised around the Rs 1.5–2.5 crore range during its second week, holding steady through Day 9.
