East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Parmeshwar Funkwal inspected the ongoing redevelopment works at the Bhubaneswar Railway Station on Wednesday, conducting a detailed review of infrastructure development and passenger amenity projects.
During the visit, the ECoR GM thoroughly examined the concourse area, platforms, and critical zones to evaluate construction progress. He held discussions with senior officials and executing agencies, directing them to maintain strict standards of construction quality, workplace safety, and timely project delivery.
Emphasising passenger convenience, Funkwal instructed authorities to implement adequate measures to minimise disruptions and maintain seamless pedestrian movement throughout the redevelopment phase.
The ambitious project seeks to transform Bhubaneswar Railway Station into a modern, highly efficient transportation hub featuring advanced passenger circulation systems, upgraded platform architecture, and enhanced travel amenities.
