Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi left for Delhi on Thursday to attend key national events aimed at boosting investment and economic cooperation.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to participate in the Semicon India-2026 summit on Friday. The high-profile event was inaugurated by the Prime Minister. On Saturday, he will also join the All-India Finance Ministers’ Conference to be held in Delhi under the chairmanship of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Speaking about the visit, the Chief Minister said an Odisha delegation is travelling to Delhi to take part in the Semicon India summit. The team will hold discussions with representatives from Europe, Japan and South Korea, who have expressed interest in investing in the state.
The Odisha government is actively working to position the state as a semiconductor hub, with efforts focused on attracting major investments in the sector.
