Law, Works and Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan chaired a high‑level review meeting today at Lok Seva Bhawan to assess the progress of several major road infrastructure projects across Odisha.
The meeting discussed construction of elevated corridors at Raghunathpur–Trisulia and Studio Chhak–Nuagaon, along with the Kalpana Chhak flyover. Officials also reviewed new alignments for the Bhubaneswar Outer Ring Road project, the Pipili–Konark road, and ongoing phases of the Daya West project.
Senior officials, including Works Department Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh, provided updates on land acquisition, DPR preparation, and measures to overcome existing bottlenecks. The minister emphasised timely execution, noting that these projects will serve as milestones in Odisha’s economic growth.
Authorities confirmed that once operational, the projects will significantly ease traffic congestion, improve connectivity to Puri, and enhance overall infrastructure in the capital region.
