The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026 was conducted smoothly across all 30 districts today in two sittings, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the School & Mass Education Department, Dr N. Thirumala Naik, visited several centres in Kataka to review arrangements. At the BSE Secondary Board High School centre, he interacted with candidates, including specially-abled examinees and their scribes, to assess facilities provided.
Dr Naik also inspected the Command and Control Centre at the BSE headquarters, where real-time monitoring of 311 centres was carried out through Live CCTV surveillance. He observed inspections conducted by District Education Officers and senior Board officials via the monitoring system.
In the presence of BSE President Srikanta Tarai, Dr Naik reviewed overall exam management, including Digi Lock systems installed at all centres. He interacted with the technical team to evaluate technological arrangements ensuring secure conduct of the examination.
Expressing satisfaction, Dr Naik appreciated the coordinated efforts of the Board and officials. He also held discussions with Kataka District Education Officer Shri Nityananda Barik and Additional District Education Officer Shri Manoranjan Barik regarding supervision and management.
