Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the Lok Seva Bhawan to discuss various developmental initiatives for the Bhubaneswar parliamentary constituency.

The meeting focused on key projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and public amenities in the region.

During the discussion, Sarangi expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for significant decisions, including granting Notified Area Council (NAC) status to Tangi, initiating the construction of the National Gallery of Modern Art in Bhubaneswar, and approving the development of a modern fish market in the city’s outskirts. These steps mark a significant push toward modernising the region’s infrastructure.

The meeting also covered several other critical projects, including the construction of a community park in Nayapalli, declaring Begunia-Bolagarh as an NAC, addressing land acquisition demands by the Vishwakarma Samiti near Kalinga Stadium, upgrading the Khordha bus stand, and constructing a new hall at Prananath College in Khordha, along with its upcoming inauguration.

Chief Minister Majhi assured that appropriate administrative measures would be taken to expedite these projects. He emphasised a collaborative approach to transform Bhubaneswar and its surrounding areas into a modern and prosperous model constituency. The discussions underscored a shared vision for sustainable urban development and improved public facilities.

The meeting was attended by Khordha MLA Prashant Jagdev and the Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Saswat Mishra, among others.
