Bhubaneswar: The Railways have cancelled Bhubaneswar-Bolangir Special till May 23 and one special train between Visakhapatnam and Kacheguda till May 31st.
“In view of poor patronisation in above trains and keeping in view the surge of Covid19 positive cases and to break the chain of infection, it has been decided to cancel two more pairs of Express Special trains from both the directions, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) informed.
Following are the Special trains to remain cancelled:-
08493/08494 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir-Bhubaneswar Special from both the directions on 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd May, 2021 will remain cancelled.
08561/08562 Visakhapatnam-Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Special from Visakhapatnam from 14th May to 31st May and from Kacheguda from 15th May to 1st June, 2021 will remain cancelled.
Earlier, the ECoR had announced cancellation of four pairs of Special Express Trains in view of poor patronization and to break the chain of Covid19 infection.
These trains are _ 02866/02865 Puri-LTT-Puri Weekly Special Express, 02880/02879 Bhubaneswar-LTT- Bhubaneswar bi-weekly Special Express, 07488/07487 Visakhapatnam-Cuddapah-Visakhapatnam daily Express Special and 02831/02832 Visakhapatnam-Lingampalli-Visakhapatnam daily Express Special.
