Bhubaneswar: The itinerary of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Odisha has changed. Shah was scheduled to visit Odisha on May 15 to address election meetings in Rourkela and Kantbanji. As per the revised schedule, Shah will visit Odisha tomorrow but address public meetings in Surada and Boudh.
This will be BJP’s second mega roadshow in Odisha. Earlier on May 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had conducted a roadshow in Bhubaneswar ahead of the first phase polls in the state.
Cuttack Nagar BJP president on Tuesday informed that the Union Home Minister is scheduled to hold a massive roadshow in Cuttack tomorrow.The roadshow, which will begin from Gopabandhu park, will cover several important junctions in Cuttack including Buxi Bazar, Tinikonia Bagicha, Dargha Bazar, Choudhry Bazar, Naya Sarak, Balu Bazar, Chandni Chouwk and Mohammadia Bazar and culminate at Chandi Mandir chhak.
Shah visited Odisha last month and sounded the BJP’s election bugle in Sonepur.
Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar today to strengthen the BJP’s election campaign in the state. Sarma will participate in the ‘Special Relationship Campaign’ of the party at a city hotel at 2.30 pm, BJP state unit Vice President Golak Mohapatra said.
