Parida announced a major restructuring initiative under Mission Shakti, dissolving grassroots SHG leadership to create inclusive opportunities for all families to participate in income-generating activities. She criticized the previous government for using SHG programs for electoral benefits and diverting funds to unregistered groups without audits.
This renewed focus on transparency and empowerment aims to promote economic inclusivity and elevate women’s active participation in Odisha’s development.
