The Odisha Cricket Association has named its 18-member Under-19 men’s squad for the opening matches of the Cooch Behar Trophy in the BCCI Domestic Season 2026-27.

The team, led by captain Subhasis Mallick, was officially announced by Sourajit Mohapatra, Chairperson of the Odisha Junior Men’s Selection Committee, at a press meet held on 5 November 2026.

The squad features two wicket-keepers — Panakala Mokshit and Vedant Vinod Devhade — along with a balanced mix of batters and bowlers.

Full list of selected players:

Subhasis Mallick (Captain), Panakala Mokshit (WK), Vedant Vinod Devhade (WK), Aditya Anand, Ayush Ranjan Mantri, Jogeswar Bag, Kamalesh Patra, Modiras Behera, Prayan Prantik Samal, Raaz Yadav, Rudra Prasad Mallick, S.R. Gunjan Sahoo, Seikh Hayat, Swagat Sourav Mishra, Sahil Satyabrat Naik, Sairaj Sahoo, Saurav Yadav and Shubham Ranjan Palai.

Odisha has been placed in Elite Group E of the Cooch Behar Trophy. The team’s first two fixtures, for which this squad has been named, are home matches:

  • 26–29 November 2026: Odisha vs Goa at Gandhi Stadium, Balangir
  • 3–6 December 2026: Odisha vs Bengal at Vikash Ground, Bargarh

Later matches include an away fixture against Haryana in Rohtak, a home game against Jammu & Kashmir in Bargarh, and a final group-stage encounter against Karnataka in Hubli.

The selection committee has wished the young side the best for the campaign, with the opening games offering an early opportunity to settle combinations ahead of the remaining fixtures.
