The Department of Agriculture & Farmer’s Empowerment has issued a strict notification directing all promoted and transferred officers to report to their assigned postings without delay.
Principal Secretary Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee emphasized that government orders must be implemented promptly and must not be kept in abeyance. Officers who fail to join their postings by August 31, 2025, will face disciplinary action, and their salaries will be withheld by their previous establishments.
The notification also warns against attempts to seek undue influence for altering or modifying posting orders, stating that such actions will be dealt with sternly. Heads and officials of directorates and field establishments have been instructed to monitor compliance and report any cases of non-joining to ensure smooth functioning at the grassroots level.
