As part of the vibrant Odia Pakhya festivities, the Sports and Youth Services Department organized the “Aitihya Ganadouda” marathon today, bringing together citizens from diverse backgrounds to celebrate Odisha’s cultural essence.

The marathon started at the historic Khandagiri and concluded at Kalinga Studio Square, offering a unique blend of fitness and cultural pride.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, dignitaries, and cultural enthusiasts. Cultural performances, traditional Odia cuisine, and community bonding added a festive vibe to the occasion. Speaking at the event, Shri Suryabanshi Suraj, Minister for Higher Education, Sports & Youth Services and Odia Language, Literature & Culture, emphasized the importance of preserving Odisha’s heritage, stating, “Our historical landmarks and traditions are not only our pride but a guiding light for future generations.”
