A shocking and high-voltage incident unfolded in Paikarapur village, under the jurisdiction of Chandaka Police Station on the outskirts of the capital city, after miscreants hurled bombs at a resident’s house following a dispute over illegal soil excavation.
According to available reports, a group of miscreants was unlawfully digging and transporting soil from a local plot without permission. When the landowner and his family strongly opposed the illegal activity, the aggrieved soil mafia attempted to terrorise them by launching a direct attack on their residence and detonating bombs.
The loud explosion caused widespread panic throughout the locality. Miraculously, no fatalities or major injuries were reported from the dangerous attack.
Upon receiving information regarding the incident, a team from Chandaka Police Station promptly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. Police have registered a case and launched an intensive investigation to trace and arrest the perpetrators involved in the bombing.
Repeated incidents of explosive attacks and the growing impunity of mafia groups in the suburbs of the state capital have sparked deep resentment and fear among local residents, who are now demanding swift and strict law enforcement action.
