Telugu cinema celebrated a landmark moment at the 72nd National Film Awards, with blockbuster films including Pushpa 2: The Rule, Kalki 2898 AD, Committee Kurrollu, Lucky Baskhar, and 35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu earning prestigious honours. Leading stars Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, and Varun Tej took to social media to congratulate the winners and applaud the industry’s remarkable achievement.
Pushpa 2: The Rule emerged as one of the biggest winners, with director Sukumar receiving the Best Screenplay award. Costume designers Deepali Noor and Sheetal Sharma also won the Best Costume Design award for their work on the film.
Production house Mythri Movie Makers celebrated the victories by praising Sukumar’s storytelling and acknowledging the costume designers for creating the film’s iconic visual identity.

Actor Allu Arjun congratulated winners from across Indian cinema while extending special appreciation to his Pushpa 2 team and fellow Telugu filmmakers.
He praised director Sukumar, costume designers Deepali Noor and Sheetal Sharma, and congratulated Mammootty, Kartik Aaryan, and Yami Gautam for winning Best Actor and Best Actress honours.
The actor also celebrated the achievements of Committee Kurrollu, which won the Best Telugu Film award, along with P. Ravi Kumar for Best Makeup. He further applauded Kalki 2898 AD for winning Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Production Design, Venky Atluri for Best Dialogues in Lucky Baskhar, and 35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu for winning Best Children’s Film and Best Child Artist.
