Rayagada: As many as 64 students of a school here have tested positive for COVID-19 virus.
According to reports, RT-PCR test of 257 inmates of a hostel named ‘Anwesha’ in Kotlaguda area of Rayagada was conducted
Following the test, reports of 44 have come out positive. All the infectees were asymptomatic. However, condition of all of them is stated to be stable, said sources.
Meanwhile, the hostel authorities have taken all precautionary measures to prevent further spread of the virus.
Similarly, 20 students of Hatamuniguda Government High School in Bisamkatak block in the district have contracted the virus.
