3 Tourists Rescued From Drowning In Puri Sea

Puri: Three tourists from West Bengal were saved from drowning by lifeguards in the Puri Sea on Wednesday.

According to reports, the rescued tourists have been identified as Surjit Adhak (18) of West Bengal’s Hooghly district, Sumant Mandal (26) & and Biswajit Mandal (26) of Nadia district in West Bengal.

Sources said, the lifeguards spotted the trio drowning and rescued them. After getting back to their senses, the tourists praised and thanked the lifeguards.

While Surjit was rescued at 2 am in front of Hotel Golden Tree under Sector-6 of Puri Sea Beach, both Sumant and Biswajit were rescued in front of Hotel Camelia under Sector-13.
