Paradip: Fishermen from Paradip have caught 17 rare Telia fishes from the sea and sold them for Rs 25 lakh in an auction in Paradip this morning.
According to reports, the fishermen had ventured into the sea last night and caught about 17 telia fishes weighing over three quintals. Today, the haul was taken to the auction and sold for about Rs 25 lakh.
It is worth mentioning that these fishes are rare as they contain plenty of oil. These are used to manufacture drugs.
