Sundargarh: At least two persons, including the driver and helper managed to escape unhurt after a coal-laden truck they were in caught fire on the middle of the road in Sundargarh district.
According to reports, the incident took place at Kundra ghat near Duduka in Hemgir block.
On being informed, the fire services personnel reached the spot immediately but the vehicle was almost reduced to ashes by then.
While the exact cause behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that a short circuit might have led to the mishap.
