Puri: The body of a youth was found floating in a pond in Delang locality of Puri district last night. The identity of the deceased was not known immediately.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after some locals spotted the body floating in a pond near Patrapada area under Delang police limits and informed police about the same.
On being alerted, police reached the spot and fished out the body for post-mortem.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact reason behind the death of the victim, a police official said.
