Sundargarh: A youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in the Town police station area of Sundargarh district. The deceased has been identified as Aruna Bhoi.
According to reports, the matter came to light after some of the neighbours suspected some foul play as he did not come out of the house today morning and immediately alerted the police about the same.
On being informed, police reached the spot and broke into the house and found the youth hanging from the ceiling of the house. Thereafter, the body was brought down and sent for post-mortem to a nearby hospital.
Following this, police registered a case and launched a probe in this regard. However, the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained.
Further investigation is underway in this regard.
