The four-day World Food India 2025 concluded today at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, marking a transformative moment for India’s food processing sector.
Inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister alongside global dignitaries including Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, the summit showcased India’s growing influence in global agri-food value chains.
With over 95,000 participants and more than Rs 1.02 lakh crore in signed MoUs, the event highlighted India’s appeal as a destination for food innovation and investment. The Prime Minister’s announcement of ₹2,518 crore in subsidies under the PMFME scheme for 26,000 micro-entrepreneurs underscored the government’s grassroots commitment.
Key sessions focused on sustainability, biodegradable packaging, blue economy potential, and digital tools for food safety. The CEO Roundtable, featuring over 100 industry leaders, emphasized reforms in logistics and sustainable investments.
International delegations from 12 countries engaged in strategic dialogues, while the parallel India International Seafood Show spotlighted export opportunities and quality standards in marine products.
World Food India 2025 not only reinforced India’s leadership in food processing but also laid the groundwork for future global partnerships, innovation, and inclusive growth.
