Keonjhar: Police seized a huge cache of wood planks at Karanjiapada village of Saharpada section under Patana forest range in Keonjhar district.
Though the exact worth of the seized consignment was not ascertained immediately, the estimated value is said to lakhs of rupees, official informed.
Acting on a tip-off, the team led by Ranjit Pattanaik conducted a raid at the house of one Damayanti Das and seized wood planks from the spot.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway in this regard, sources said.
