Khurda: A woman met with a watery grave after falling into the well while drawing water in Khurda district on Tuesday.
According to reports, the incident took place while the victim was pulling water from the well when she accidentally slipped into it. Soon after, her family members sounded the local Fire Brigade and she was rescued. Even though she was rushed to Khurda hospital, the doctor declared her dead.
A pall of gloom descended on the village.
