A labourer died and two others were critically injured in an accident during the construction of a drain in Cuttack city, today.
According to sources, five labourers were working on the reconstruction of a drain near Bidanasi Nahak Sahi when a boundary wall of a nearby residential building collapsed burying three labourers under the rubble.
One labourer died at the spot, while the other two were rescued by locals and taken to a hospital in critical condition, sources said.
