Sambalpur: Stepping up the investigation into the death of former VSSUT student Chinmayee Priyadharini Sahu, Sambapur police on Saturday conducted the polygraph test of her classmate friend Pritiman Dey and his friend Manas Tudu.
Dey and Tudu were brought to State Forensic Laboratory where both underwent a lie detection test.
The test will reveal whether they are lying about the incident.
Theree teams of police are investigating the death of Chinmayee, a former student of VISSUT.
Police team also reached the rented house at BJB Nagar in Bhubaneswar where Chinmayee was staying and questioned the house owners and others.
Notably, Chinmayee jumped off the Power Channel at Burla on Wednesday. Her body was recovered next day from the water body. It is still unclear she was killed or committed suicide. The police are still investigating the incident.
Her parents lodged a complaint with police alleging murder of their daughter.
