Mumbai: Veteran cinematographer Johny Lal died due to Covid-19 related complications at his home in Mumbai on Wednesday.
The cinematographer worked in films like Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein and Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, among others. R Madhavan and Tusshar Kapoor took to social media to pay tribute to the veteran cinematographer.
Sharing a photo of the late cinematographer, Madhavan wrote, “The Saga of tragedies continues & we lost a wonderful man-The DOP of RHTDM. RIP Johny Lal sir. Your gentleness, kindness, and brilliance will be so missed. You so beautifully managed to bring out our souls in RHTDM & now yours makes its way to the heavens. Heartbroken and aghast (sic).”
