Cuttack: Two more persons have been arrested in connection with the racket involving manufacturing and sale of fake spurious blood pressure medicines in Cuttack.
With the fresh arrest, the total number of arrestees rose to eight.
The two accused are chemists who had been purchasing the fake medicines from two pharmaceutical distributors who had been arrested in the similar case.
Earlier, police had arrested Alok Kumar Mishra, Harish Kumar, Rahul Kyal, and Sanjay Jalan earlier in this connection.
A special team of police along with Assistant Drug Controller had recently visited Gaya and Patna to carry out an investigation.
