Dhenkanal: The carcass of a tusker was found at Rankia village under Bhuban forest range in Dhenkanal. According to wildlife wing officials, the animal was electrocuted to death after coming in contact with a live wire.
However, the body has been seized and actual cause of death will be ascertained after post-mortem.
The Forest staff who reached the spot have launched a probe into the matter.
