Indian shuttlers Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand have managed to stay in the Top 10 in the latest BWF Rankings, though they dropped one spot to 10th after skipping the Badminton Asia Championships in Ningbo, China.

In women’s singles, P. V. Sindhu fell further, dropping from 17th to 18th, following her round-of-16 exit. Lakshya Sen, too, lost ground in men’s singles, slipping from 16th to 18th due to a first-round defeat.

Men’s doubles duo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also moved down one place to 11th, after missing the competition. However, India’s mixed doubles pair Tanisha Crasto & Dhruv Kapila showed an improvement, climbing to 17th after reaching the quarterfinals.

With multiple Indian players seeing ranking shifts, the focus now turns to upcoming tournaments where they will aim to reclaim lost ground.
