The Ministry of Steel will hold an Open House on July 29–30, 2025, at the Steel Room, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi.
The session aims to address ongoing concerns related to the Steel Import Monitoring System (SIMS), Quality Control Orders (QCOs), and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
Industry stakeholders—including companies and associations—are invited to present their grievances and suggestions directly to ministry officials. To participate, an email must be sent to tech-steel@nic.in, requesting a confirmed time slot.
📌 Participation Guidelines:
- Mention the name of the company/association
- Specify whether the issue pertains to SIMS, QCOs, NOCs, or others
- Detail the number of participants (max 15 for associations)
- Indicate preferred date (29th or 30th July)
- Provide reference to relevant applications (if any)
- Include industry type and product category (e.g., Auto, Telecom, Defence)
- Brief description of the issue (within 50 words)
- Add contact details of the nodal person
🕥 The Open House will run daily from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and walk-ins will not be entertained due to space constraints.
This initiative is expected to enhance policy responsiveness and streamline processes for stakeholders across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, and defence.
