Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) kick-started the third edition of the Street Art and Murals Project (STAMP 3.0) in the state capital on 30th November 2022. Artists of the state as well as of national and international repute, engaged by Odisha Lalit Kala Academy, will give a new look to the city’s walls with the Odisha’s street art and murals.
Smt. Sulochana Das, Mayor, BMC unveiled the logo of the Stamp 3.0 on the occasion in presence of Smt. Manjulata Kanhar, Deputy Mayor; Shri Vijay Amruta Kulange, IAS, Commissioner, BMC; Shri Suryawanshi Mayur Vikas, IAS, Additional Commissioner, BMC and officials and artists of Odisha Lalit Kala Academy.
Lalit kala Academy has engaged50 artists for STAMP 3.0 of which 35 renowned as well as budding artists belong to the state whereas 10 artists will be of national level and five artists of international repute. Atleast 40 km main stretch will be covered on 12 themes in this Street Art and Murals Project.
STAMP 3.0 will be an platform where Odisha’s art and culture will be showcased before the people visiting to Bhubaneswar from across the country as well as from different countries during the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup in January 2023.
