Angul: Police have unearthed a spurious chips manufacturing unit in Bhandubar area of Angul in a crackdown against adulterated items. Police have detained one person in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off a special squad of police conducted a raid at the illegal factory that was preparing duplicate chips for consumers.
Cops also seized labels of several top brands, machinery and raw materials used in the production of chips, sources said.
