Speeding Car Hits Motorcycle, Couple Critical After Falling Off Rasulgarh Flyover
Bhubaneswar: A man and his wife sustained critical injuries after the duo fell off from Rasulgarh flyover here after being hit by a speeding car last night.
According to reports, the victims were heading towards Phulnakhara on NH-16 at around 10 PM. Meanwhile, the speeding car hit the motorcycle on the overbridge near Rahaman Petrol Pump. Following the incident, the couple fell down from the bridge.
As a result, the duo sustained critical injuries. While the woman sustained fracture in her hand and leg, her husband sustained critical injuries on head and back.
They were rescued and rushed to the Capital Hospital in an ambulance.
On being informed, Mancheswar police detained the driver of the car for questioning and seized the vehicle.
