Who Need Not Appear for Special OJEE?

Such candidates can participate in the counselling process without appearing in the special examination.
Eligibility of Candidates from Outside Odisha
The notification also states that candidates from outside Odisha are eligible to apply for Special OJEE 2026.
However, admissions for non-Odisha candidates will be restricted to private institutions, while government college seats will remain reserved in accordance with existing state admission policies.
Results to Be Used for Vacant Seat Admissions
The ranks obtained in Special OJEE 2026 will be used exclusively for filling vacant seats remaining after the completion of the first phase of counselling.
